Day 1 – ARRIVE HELSINKI

Finland’s buzzing capital city is best-known for its art and culture, and innovative architecture. In the evening, join the rest of the group and your Tour Leader for a welcome dinner.
Day 2 – AT HELSINKI
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: GUIDED HELINKI CITY TOUR MEALS: BREAKFAST After breakfast, meet your guide for a tour of Helsinki, Finland's vibrant capital, fondly known as the "Daughter of the Baltic Sea." Begin at the Senate Square, renowned for its grand neoclassical architecture. Experience the lively energy of Market Square, where locals and visitors mingle amidst stalls of fresh produce and handicrafts. Marvel at the Uspenski Cathedral, an Eastern Orthodox masterpiece with distinctive red brick walls and golden onion domes. Next we visit the innovative Sibelius Monument, a striking tribute to Finland’s beloved composer, Jean Sibelius. After the city tour, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Wander Helsinki’s charming streets, sample local delicacies, or explore its museums and unique shops.
Day 3 – TRAIN JOURNEY TO ROVANIEMI (09 HOURS APPROX)
MEALS: BREAKFAST Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before walking to Helsinki Station, where you'll board a train bound for Finnish Lapland. THE TRAIN JOURNEY FROM HELSINKI TO ROVANIEMI OFFERS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO WITNESS FINLAND'S DIVERSE SCENERY AS YOU TRAVEL NORTHWARD. Sit back, relax, and watch as the urban bustle of Helsinki gives way to vast forests, serene lakes, and snow-dusted landscapes, each view more captivating than the last. Upon arrival at Rovaniemi Station, a coach will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Once settled in at your hotel, take some time to relax and soak in the unique atmosphere of the north.
Day 4 – AT ROVANIEMI
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: SANTA CLAUS VILLAGE II ARCTIC CIRCLE CROSSING II AURORA ICE FLOAT MEALS: BREAKFAST This morning, after breakfast, you will be transferred to the iconic Santa Claus Village, a magical destination located on the Arctic Circle. Here you will receive your Arctic Circle Crossing Certificate, a special memento to commemorate your journey north. Stroll through the charming village, meet Santa Claus himself, and discover the unique shops offering locally crafted goods and souvenirs. In the evening, prepare for an extraordinary experience as you head to a private and serene location for Aurora Ice Floating. This unique activity invites you to float in a frozen lake under the Arctic sky, offering a surreal sense of peace and tranquillity. Equipped with a high-quality rescue suit that covers your entire body and keeps you completely dry, you’ll stay warm even in the icy, 0-degree water. Day 5 – ROVANIEMI TO PYHÄ
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: HUSKY SAFARI II OVERNIGHT IN A GLASS ROOF IGLOO MEALS: BREAKFAST II DINNER Today, embark on a scenic journey north to Pyhä, a tranquil Arctic destination surrounded by breathtaking wilderness. As you travel deeper into Finnish Lapland, enjoy views of snow-draped forests and pristine landscapes that embody the serene beauty of the Arctic. Upon arrival at the Northern Lights Village, settle into your Aurora Cabin for a magical overnight stay. These unique cabins, designed with glass roofs, allow you to enjoy uninterrupted views of the Arctic night sky from the comfort of your bed. Whether it’s a starry sky or the elusive Northern Lights painting the night sky, the experience promises to be unforgettable. Day 6 – PYHÄ - SAARISELKÄ – IVALO
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: REINDEER SAFARI MEALS: BREAKFAST After breakfast, we journey further north, beginning with a memorable experience at a reindeer farm in Saariselkä. This is your chance to enjoy a Reindeer Safari, the traditional and most reliable way of getting around in the Arctic. Upon arrival, you'll be provided with warm winter gear to keep you comfortable in the chilly Arctic air. After the ride, you’ll have the chance to reward the reindeer with some lichen, their favorite treat, and take some photos to capture the magical moment. We’ll then head inside a cozy log house or traditional wooden kota to warm up, enjoy a cup of hot coffee or tea with cookies, and listen to fascinating stories about reindeer and the Sámi people. Later, we continue our journey north to Ivalo, one of Finland’s northernmost destinations. Surrounded by two major national parks, the grand Inari Lake, and Kaldoaivi—the largest wilderness area in Finland—Ivalo is a gateway to the Arctic, offering an unspoiled landscape of natural beauty. This region also holds deep cultural significance, as it lies at the heart of the Sámi homeland, the only recognized indigenous people in Europe.
Day 7 – IVALO – INARI - IVALO
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: SIIDA SAMI MUSEUM II NORTHERN LIGHTS HUNTING MEALS: BREAKFAST Today, embark on a fascinating day trip to Inari. Known for its deep cultural significance, Inari offers a unique opportunity to explore the traditions of the Sámi people. Your first stop will be the SIIDA Sami Museum and Nature Centre, a place dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich heritage of the Sámi people and the stunning Arctic nature that surrounds them. In the evening, you’ll have the chance to embark on a thrilling Northern Lights hunting adventure. With your local guide, you’ll head out in search of the elusive Aurora Borealis. Your guide will help you find the perfect vantage points, sharing their expert knowledge of the best locations for viewing the Northern Lights. If conditions are favorable, you’ll be treated to a spectacular natural light show as the vibrant colors of the Aurora dance across the Arctic sky. After your Northern Lights excursion, head back to your accommodation, reflecting on a remarkable day exploring Lapland's culture and natural beauty.
Day 8 – FLY TO HELSINKI
MEALS: BREAKFAST Today marks the end of your unforgettable journey through Finnish Lapland as we begin our journey back to Helsinki. After breakfast, you'll be transferred by coach from your hotel to Ivalo Airport, offering one last opportunity to enjoy the stunning Arctic landscapes as we leave the wilderness behind. Once in Helsinki, you’ll be greeted at the airport and transferred by coach to your hotel where you can check in and unwind. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the capital at your leisure, whether you choose to relax, shop, or discover the city's many sights.
Day 9 – FLY BACK TO INDIA
MEALS: BREAKFAST Your tour of Finland ends after breakfast. You will receive on time transfer to Helsinki Airport to board flight back to India.
