Day 1 – FLY INTO OSLO
MEALS: DINNER Upon arrival at Oslo International Airport, meet your driver and transfer to hotel. Remaining part of the day is left free for you to get acquainted to the new environment. Oslo, Norway's capital, is known for its blend of nature and urban culture, offering visitors world-class museums, beautiful natural landscapes like the Oslofjord and forests, a rich history including Viking heritage, and impressive architecture and design. Overnight stay in Oslo.
Day 2 – FLIGHT FROM OSLO TO THE ARCTIC / KIRKENES
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: DOG SLEDDING EXPERIENCE II MEET THE REINDEERS II SAUNA II HUNTING NORTHERN LIGHTS MEALS: BREAKFAST AND DINNER After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to airport to board flight to Kirkenes. You will be picked up at Kirkenes Airport and transported to the Snow Hotel, just 20 minutes outside of Kirkenes. Here, you will check into comfortable and luxurious cabins before enjoying a good lunch. If you wish to stay overnight in the Snow Hotel itself, this will be arranged upon arrival. Afternoon (01PM) join our huskies for an arctic dog sledding experience in the wilderness, surrounded by mountains and fjord. When you return to the hotel, you will have free time to explore the camp. Here, you can visit the reindeers, take a sauna (contact the hotel reception to book), go for an evening walk in the Arctic nature, or try your luck at fishing. HUNTING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS - Northern lights season starts September 01st! In the autumn before snow comes, the conditions to see the Aurora Borealis are excellent.
Day 3 – EXCURSIONS AND DEPARTURE FROM KIRKENES – BEGIN YOUR 6 DAY CRUISE JOURNEY
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: TOUR OF ANDERSGROTTA MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER After a good breakfast, you check out and are picked up at the hotel in the morning for departure to the Ship. On the way to the ship, there is time for a stop in Kirkenes and a tour of Andersgrotta – Kirkenes' largest bomb shelter, built in 1941. The excursion ends at the Kirkenes harbour, where one of Havila Kystruten's brand new coastal route ships is waiting for you. Check in on the ship, find your comfortable cabin, and start your stay on board with your first taste of our unique food concept as we offer lunch. For the rest of the first day on board, we recommend that you explore the ship and simply enjoy the beautiful Arctic nature that flows by outside the large panoramic windows.
Day 4 – ON CRUISE – INTO THE POLAR LANDSCAPE
MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER The polar landscape changes as we sail towards the west and south again. The great expanses are replaced by steep peaks, and in the evening we sail into Tromsø. You can take a stroll in the midnight sun or under the Northern Lights and explore the nightlife of the city dubbed "The Paris of the North".
Day 5 – ON CRUISE – THE AMAZING LOFOTEN ISLANDS
MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER The next day is a highlight, as you will experience some of the most beautiful nature Norway has to offer. The day starts in Harstad, then continues through Risøyrenna down towards Vesterålen. Sailing quietly through Raftsundet towards the magical Trollfjorden will immerse you in the majestic nature. Trollfjorden, silent and emission-free on battery power, is an unforgettable experience before the ship sails down to Svolvær, in the heart of Lofoten.
Day 6 – ON CRUISE – ARCTIC CIRCLE AND HELGELAND COAST
MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER Travel far south crossing the Arctic Circle and sailing away from the polar night and the sunlit nights in the early morning hours before the beautiful Helgeland coast reveals itself with the Seven Sisters, island landscapes, and a magical atmosphere. We recommend excursions to the famous Torghatten to get an interesting glimpse into the Norwegian salmon adventure during this part of the journey.
Day 7 – ON CRUISE – SAILING INTO TRONDHEIM
MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER We sail through the wide Trondheim fjord that is bounded by rolling farmland on both sides and return to the coast and the open sea. You can disembark in Kristiansund and be driven along the Atlantic Ocean Road, which has been called the world's most beautiful drive. The road meanders along islets and skerries, and afterwards you can re-embark in Molde.
Day 8 – DE-BOARD CRUISE AT BERGEN – FLY TO OSLO
MEALS: BREAKFAST AND LUNCH After the last night on board, the tour takes you through a diverse coastal landscape of bare Rocky Mountains and a maze of sounds and waterways between many islands. The great fjords and glaciers are situated inland. You arrive in Bergen at 14:45 PM. Private Transfer to the Bergen Airport and board flight to Osla. Upon arrival transfer to hotel.
Day 9 – EXPLORING OSLO
DAY HIGHLIGHTS: PANORAMA BUS TOUR II FJORD CRUISE MEALS: BREAKFAST After breakfast reach out to Bus station where you board Hop-On-Hop Off Panorama Bus exploring Oslo. The tour starts in the centre of Oslo where you meet your guide for the day and board the bus that will take you around the capital. On the tour, you will admire the main attractions in the city centre and see spectacular views from the Holmenkollen Ski Jump. Later part of the day enjoys the scenic Oslofjord on a sightseeing fjord cruise and get an overview of the city and its attractions. Pass through narrow sounds, idyllic bays, and through a maze of islands with small summer houses. You’ll sail past numerous islands, including Hovedøya and the Dyna Lighthouse, through narrow inlets and into sheltered bays so that you can capture the capital on camera from different angles.
Day 10 – FLY BACK TO INDIA
MEALS: BREAKFAST Post breakfast, meet our driver and get transferred to airport to conclude your Norwegian Journey with sweet memories. Board your flight back home. *
